Seat and Carpet Shampoo
You must consider your car as you consider the inside of your house. Because it is similar to it. You have carpets and seats inside your car just as you have carpets and seats inside the house. The difference is that the carpets and seats inside your car get dirtier and a bit harder to clean. Since people usually don’t take off their shoes when they get inside the car, you are forced to clean them more often.
Get Rid of the Trash
First things first, you must make sure to take out every piece of trash before starting to clean your car. Every piece of gum, every tossed paper, you might even find a couple of bucks or coins inside the car. Take them out. Every trash must be thrown away. And trust me, a lot of trash gather inside a car. It just happens from everyday use and people constantly forgetting where they leave stuff.
Take Out the Mats and Dust Them Off
The mats usually collect a lot of dirt and dust in them. The reason this happens is that people step on them with their shoes. Think of the number of people that get inside your car in a week. Exactly see what I’m saying. Now double that number and tell me how many pair of dirty shoes does that equal? This is why you want to carefully remove the mats to not let their dirt fall on the carpet and then you want to dust them off to make sure all their dirt is off.
Clean the Seats
If you have leather seats use leather cleaner. If you have normal seats a normal cleaner would be just fine, make sure to clean the seats with a detergent that is good and certified it won’t ruin them. Make sure to dust them off before foaming them and don’t be afraid to use the carpet cleaner on them. The seats are the most important ones to be cleaned because they are the place where people seat. They get dirty faster and thus must be cleaned more extensively. It is all about hygiene.
Clean the Carpet
Use the vacuum to clean the carpet. Make sure to have removed every piece of dirt, dust or ever rock from the carpet. Then once you have used the vacuum on the carpet, start by using a soapy detergent to clean every stain off the carpet. Usually from all the steps, the carper develops a type of dirty moisture that is oily. The detergent will make sure to dissolve that one. Once you have scrubbed the carpet, and then leave it to dry out before putting in the mats again.
